When Britt Lassiter's older brother, Bran, gets an opportunity as a summer job to house-sit in Florida, the family is extremly happy. Britt, Bran and her mother just moved to Florida, and is in need of money while her mom finishes college. Once they move in, everything seems great, until Bran starts being super cautious about everything and very paranoid. Britt starts to think that her family aren't supposed to be living in the stangers house, and starts poking around the house and the neighborhood. She makes a strange discovery, the owners of the house aren't who Bran says they are. So whos house are the Lassiters living in, and why didn't Bran tell her anything? I suggest this book to anyone that likes realistic fiction and mystery. Also to anyone that likes to read Margaret Peterson Haddix, I think this is one of her best books.

Caitlin always wanted to get into Miami High School of Arts. And she got in, but the only problem is that her mom wouldn't let her go. So then she used different types of ways to let her mom to agree to let her go, and her mom did let her go. But she never knew that in Miami High School, there is lots of people that is incredibly good, she started to have lots of pressure. But at last, she was the best girl in her grade, and she got invited to a Summer Opera Program which is in New York.

Ninth grade girl Jade has been with her friend Vicky ever since 1st grade. They were inseparable. However this all changes when a terrible tragedy happens to Vicky in which she loses her life by a car accident. It is up to Jade to decide for herself what she really wants. Everybody feels great saddness for her, but Vicky's ghost is always with her causing her to talk to Vicky when really, Vicky is invisible to the world. Jade receives special help from a lot of people to adjust to her new life. Will Vicky help Jade to adjust or will she stop that from happening?

Gary Boone is hopeless, he walks up to random people and tells random jokes. Everybody hates him... until he got a chance to prove that he is a very, very humorous guy, people who likes funny books will love this book (note: get a piece of paper and a pencil when reading to write down the jokes!)

Salamanca or Sal is traveling with her grand parents to somewhere in Idaho to see her mom. On the way she tells them about one of her friends in Ohio called Phoebe. Sal tells her grand parents about how Phoebe meets someone she thinks is a lunatic. Then Phoebe gets these strange messgaes like everyone has their own agenda. After a while Phoebe's mom disappears. Phoebe then thinks that her mom was kidnapped. I don't know how to make this book sound interesting.
